This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Conduct reviews and audits of the work executed by Patient Advocates.
• Ensure that patient advocacy tasks are carried out accurately, meeting program requirements and client expectations.
• Identify opportunities for revenue recovery and present actionable insights to leadership.
• Examine rejected tasks in MAP to confirm that appropriate rejection codes have been applied.
• Detect errors in rejection codes and report them to the Director of Patient Advocacy.
• Document and monitor quality findings to enhance workflows, tools, and services.
• Create audit finding reports and provide feedback to the Director of Patient Advocacy.
• Engage in calibration sessions to ensure alignment of audit standards.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare, patient access, billing, or quality assurance is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with patient assistance programs, copay support, or pharmaceutical access programs is advantageous.
• Experience with healthcare Electronic Health Records (EHRs) such as EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, or Allscripts is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office (assessment may be conducted).
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and platforms concurrently.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Experience with audit tools, quality tracking systems, or case management platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for errors and inconsistencies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting and reporting findings.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
• Organizational discipline and the ability to manage a high volume of audit cases.
