This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Arrange patient appointments for diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician office visits, and additional procedures/treatments
• Gather and confirm demographic and insurance details
• Register patients and input data into the scheduling system
• Operate in a call center-like environment
• Achieve individual quality metrics
• Deliver professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, employees, physicians, and community members
• High School diploma, Certification, GED, Training, or Experience
• Successfully complete the Patient Access training course
• Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team-oriented individual with empathetic customer service and interpersonal communication abilities
• Basic familiarity with medical and insurance terminology is preferred
• Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Proficient typing skills
• Understanding of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, Medicare coverage frameworks, and medical necessity compliance regulations
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is preferred
• Minimum required experience: less than 1 year
