This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Organize and manage patient appointments for diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician office visits, as well as other procedures and treatments.
β’ Collect and confirm demographic and insurance details.
β’ Register patients and input data into the scheduling system.
β’ Operate within a call center setting.
β’ Achieve individual quality performance metrics.
β’ Deliver professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, their families, staff, physicians, and community members.
β’ High school diploma, certificate, GED, relevant training, or equivalent experience.
β’ Successfully complete the Patient Access training program.
β’ Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
β’ Proficient in performing basic mathematical calculations.
β’ Highly detail-oriented and organized.
β’ A collaborative team member with compassion, outstanding customer service, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Basic understanding of medical and insurance terminology is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
β’ Proficient typing skills.
β’ Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare coverage structure, including guidelines for medical necessity compliance.
β’ Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is preferred.
β’ Less than one year of required minimum experience.
