Pashto Consecutive Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• A Reviver Global consecutive interpreter, whether over-the-phone or via video remote, plays a vital role in ensuring effective communication among individuals who speak different languages.

• Consecutive interpreters listen to a speaker in one language and then convey their message into another language after a short pause.

⛳️ Requirements

• Deliver consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and other events.

• Attentively listen to the speaker in the source language and accurately translate the message into the target language.

• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and comply with Reviver Global's 360 SL protocols, policies, and industry best practices as required by clients.

🏝️ Benefits

• Minimum of 1 year of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation.

• Fluency in at least two languages (source and target languages).

• Evidence of English language proficiency, achieving a "technical proficiency" rating on the national ILR scale or its equivalent.

• Successful completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score.

• An updated resume that highlights relevant interpretation experience.

• A criminal background check conducted in English.

• Necessary technical setup to support interpretation tasks (including a headset, stable internet, and a laptop).
