This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Generate a steady stream of qualified leads through conferences, word of mouth, existing relationships, outbound outreach, and warm introductions.
• Evaluate and prioritize leads to concentrate time and resources on the most promising opportunities.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with key decision-makers in gaming teams at major holding companies (e.g., Omnicom, Publicis, WPP, Dentsu) that oversee gaming marketing expenditures.
• Forge direct connections with brands, focusing on leading entertainment, toy, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and quick-service restaurant (QSR) organizations.
• Convert qualified leads into finalized, revenue-generating partnerships.
• Maintain follow-up and pipeline management to ensure leads remain active.
• Secure revenue both directly with brands and through marketing agencies.
• Ensure Voldex is included in pertinent RFP discussions from gaming-centric agencies and brands.
• Collaborate closely with the Brand Partnerships team to create proposals, pitch decks, and go-to-market materials for qualified leads.
• Provide consistent and transparent updates on pipeline status and deal progression to the Brand Partnerships team and your manager via CRM or other shared processes.
• Set realistic expectations with clients throughout the sales process to facilitate a smooth transition to the account management team post-sale.
• Offer an informed perspective on current brand expenditures on gaming activations and leverage that knowledge to influence Voldex's market approach.
• Share market insights and trends to enhance Voldex's partnership offerings and positioning.
• 6+ years of experience in digital/gaming media sales.
• 2+ years of proven success in selling gaming advertising integrations within user-generated content (UGC) gaming platforms (Roblox preferred).
• Established connections with media/marketing agencies managing gaming marketing budgets, with a history of getting brands or platforms involved in RFP discussions.
• Strong track record of generating pipelines and closing six- and seven-figure advertising/integration deals.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities with senior marketers and agency planners.
• Clear and proactive communicator capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams without overcommitting on scope.
• Experience in successfully selling gaming advertising integrations on Roblox specifically (Bonus).
• Existing relationships at major holding companies (WPP, Publicis, Dentsu, Omnicom) (Bonus).
• Knowledge of Voldex's games or the broader Roblox ecosystem (Bonus).
