This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with regional and organizational leadership to pinpoint and prioritize U.S. Federal Government agencies, departments, and strategic accounts.
• Design and implement thorough federal account and growth strategies, engaging with senior executives, acquisition officials, program managers, and project delivery teams.
• Identify, assess, pursue, and secure new business prospects within U.S. Federal Government entities.
• Propel revenue growth utilizing PMI products, services, training, certifications, and enterprise solutions across federal agencies and their partner ecosystems.
• Foster relationships with federal decision-makers, contracting officials, systems integrators, and strategic allies.
• Assist in capture planning, opportunity assessment, proposal efforts, and strategies for contract growth.
• Ensure adherence to company standards concerning CRM usage and pipeline management.
• Establish and sustain a robust federal market network, representing PMI at government-centric conferences, industry days, and professional gatherings.
• Deliver market intelligence and customer insights to guide PMI's strategy and solution development.
• Work alongside marketing, client engagement, and sales teams to craft targeted federal growth initiatives.
• Keep precise forecasts, pipeline data, account details, and business development reports.
• Focus on high-value opportunities and ensure attention on investments that yield the greatest strategic and financial returns.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government, Public Policy, Project Management, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of senior-level business development and sales experience within the U.S. Federal Government market.
• Proven success in developing and executing business development strategies that generate new revenue within U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Experience in managing intricate federal sales cycles, account planning, capture initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Federal procurement processes, contracting vehicles, acquisition practices, and government purchasing environments.
• Engagement experience with executive-level federal stakeholders, program offices, contracting organizations, and systems integrators.
• A demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales quotas and annual revenue objectives.
• Over 7 years of experience in strategic account planning, forecasting, budgeting, business analysis, process enhancement, and change leadership.
• Background in a sales environment within a progressive global organization or a similar professional services, training, certification, or technology sector.
• Highly skilled in CRM systems, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Successful advocacy with government entities and senior executive audiences.
• PMI certifications are advantageous.
• An effective presenter capable of engaging senior federal executives, acquisition organizations, and large conference audiences.
• Technologically adept and knowledgeable about modern digital technologies, analytics, cloud solutions, and enterprise transformation.
• Willingness and ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of project management, the profession, and PMI to establish credibility and trust with federal clients.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
