This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborates with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach and penetrate key markets effectively.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and forward-thinking abilities to foster robust internal and cross-functional partnerships.
• Secures both new and recurring business by cultivating strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders through virtual meetings and outbound calls.
• Regularly meets or exceeds established activity requirements.
• Engages with schools and childcare centers consistently to evaluate emerging and ongoing needs.
• Hosts virtual product demonstrations aimed at educating customers about proprietary services such as Complete Classrooms®, professional development, custom solutions, and more.
• Conducts online research to collect data on local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
• Collaborates with departmental leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies as necessary.
• Works alongside outside sales, retail, and our professional services team to address the needs of educators.
• Identifies sales leads and collaborates with various sales team members to support the market.
• Participates in weekly team meetings to review departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Aids the team in special projects, including collaboration with the outside sales team and involvement in national and/or state campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in making a high volume of outbound sales calls in either an Inside Sales or Outside Sales capacity is highly desirable.
• Preferred qualifications include a proven record of sales success in the early childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors, along with a deep understanding of the industry dynamics and decision-making processes.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, embodies a team player mentality, and excels in delivering exceptional work from a home environment.
• Possesses solid presentation skills and can effectively address customer needs at all levels, including teachers, administrators, and directors.
• Highly coachable with a strong willingness to learn and embrace feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a personal drive to improve and achieve success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
