This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee daily operations, priorities, and workload allocation for the APS team associated with the partner Core Team.
• Take ownership of individual and team performance results by tracking key metrics (contact rates, application completion, admit-to-start conversion, census attendance) and implementing corrective measures when targets fall short.
• Mentor APS team members through consistent one-on-ones, call reviews, pipeline audits, and performance discussions. Recognize skill deficiencies and collaborate with the Manager of Admissions Services to create development plans.
• Utilize the Risk Rating Assessment Rubric to identify at-risk students and adapt APS engagement strategies accordingly.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to propose coaching strategies and operational changes that enhance conversion rates and student progression.
• Cultivate and maintain extensive knowledge of the assigned partner institution’s admissions procedures, systems, personnel, policies, and academic standards.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the student journey and the admissions experience unique to the assigned partner.
• Contribute to and assist in maintaining the internal knowledge base to ensure that documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible for the APS team.
• Educate APS team members on partner-specific admissions procedures by offering guidance and expertise derived from institutional knowledge.
• Ensure prompt communication of process changes, updates, and partner feedback to APS team members.
• Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PKH Admissions in partner-facing meetings, including regular admissions, financial aid, and relevant departmental discussions.
• Participate in STITCH coordination meetings, addressing student issues and providing status updates as necessary.
• Monitor specific metrics and analyze data to suggest strategies that enhance conversion rates and student progression within the Core Team.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education working with adult students in an online environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in admissions, enrollment management, or student recruitment.
• Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in higher education recruiting, advising, and/or admissions, showcasing proven team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Awareness of the unique challenges and needs of adult learners in higher education.
• Familiarity with CRM, LMS, and SIS platforms, along with other technologies utilized in online higher education and student management.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and oversee the performance of individual contributors in a metrics-driven environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret funnel data and translate insights into effective coaching and operational strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities in both team leadership and partner-facing roles.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of representing PKH credibly in partner-facing situations.
• Familiarity with relevant academic policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).
