This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
• Build and nurture strong, collaborative business relationships between Yelp and small to medium-sized local agencies and their advertisers.
• Consistently exceed sales objectives by generating new partner-driven revenue on a quarterly basis.
• Lead the entire partnership and deal-origin process, managing each phase from strategy and planning to pipeline development, outreach, implementation, and sustained growth.
• Develop engaging and consultative sales presentations that highlight how Yelp’s advertising solutions can effectively connect with consumers.
• Act as a representative and spokesperson for our company at industry events.
• Play a role in shaping the future direction of Yelp’s advertising partner program.
• Establish and maintain partner relationships to ensure the achievement of designated goals.
• Analyze agency structures to identify key decision-makers, budget holders, and their decision-making processes.
• Foster ongoing relationships with agencies, validate advertisers' needs, and uphold the significance of Yelp’s partnerships.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth with new clients.
• Start each workday with a positive mindset and a strong determination to succeed.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in agency and partner sales, business development, or digital sales roles.
• Familiarity with Yelp’s advertising products, APIs, and industry channel programs, such as those from Google, Bing, or Facebook (preferred).
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets in previous roles.
• A broad network of contacts within the technology sector, ranging from startups to established brands.
• Strong and effective communication skills in all forms, including written communication, presentations, negotiations, and active listening.
• A genuine enthusiasm for our company's products as well as other consumer internet/mobile offerings.
• A flexible, startup-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Self-motivated, a team player, and possess a strong desire to surpass targets.
• Willingness to travel as required for the role (25%).
