This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
• Build and nurture robust, collaborative relationships between Yelp and small to medium-sized business (primarily local) agencies along with their advertisers.
• Continuously exceed sales objectives by generating new revenue driven by partnerships each quarter.
• Spearhead the partnership and deal creation process, managing every phase from strategic planning and pipeline development to outreach, implementation, and sustained growth.
• Develop persuasive and consultative sales presentations that highlight how Yelp’s advertising solutions can effectively attract consumers.
• Act as a representative and advocate for our company at industry events.
• Play a key role in shaping the future trajectory of Yelp’s advertising partner program.
• Cultivate and sustain partner relationships to ensure the accomplishment of designated goals.
• Examine agency structures, pinpoint key decision-makers, budget controllers, and the decision-making workflows of the agencies.
• Foster ongoing relationships with agencies, confirm advertiser requirements, and uphold Yelp’s partnership prominence.
• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams to stimulate revenue growth with new clients.
• Start each workday with a positive mindset and a commitment to achieving success.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in agency and partner sales, business development, or digital sales roles.
• Knowledge of Yelp’s advertising products, APIs, and channel programs within the industry, such as those provided by Google, Bing, or Facebook (preferred).
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets in prior roles.
• A broad network of contacts within the technology sector, ranging from startups to well-established companies.
• Strong and effective communication skills in all formats, including written communication, presentations, negotiations, and active listening.
• A genuine enthusiasm for our company's products, along with other consumer internet and mobile offerings.
• A flexible, startup-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• A self-driven team player with a robust motivation to exceed objectives.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the position (25%).
