Part Time Virtual School Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in fostering students’ academic growth, social development, and mental and behavioral well-being through problem-solving techniques, assessment, and data-driven decision-making.

• Perform thorough psychological evaluations for students.

• Administer, score, and analyze standardized assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

• Generate comprehensive evaluation reports that encompass findings, recommendations, and possible interventions.

• Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to collect pertinent information.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to review evaluation results and aid in the formulation of individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Keep precise and confidential records of all evaluations and associated documentation.

• Employ diverse models and methods for assessment and data collection.

• Assess and integrate research to inform service delivery.

• Deliver services that adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Accredited graduate degree program at the specialist-level or higher.

• Current or the ability to acquire a School Psychologist license/certificate from priority states upon hiring.

• National School Psychologist Certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological evaluations within a school environment.

• Experience with virtual settings is preferred.

• Strong understanding of assessment tools and methods.

• Proficient in technology, particularly with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.

• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Highly organized and reliable.

• Capacity to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during school hours with a consistent weekly schedule, and potentially up to 30 hours depending on caseload demands.
