Part-time Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a part-time Staff Accountant who is eager to work independently. This position requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment and a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate will excel at organizing data using spreadsheets.

• This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week, aligning with US Eastern business hours.

• **Duties and Responsibilities**

• - Complete bookkeeping for multiple entities using QuickBooks Online.

• - Manage payroll processing and accounts payable through Gusto.

• - Conduct month-end closes and reconciliations across several bank platforms.

• - Prepare weekly cash flow summaries and expenditure reports for the founder.

• - Categorize expenses, handle reimbursements, and maintain bookkeeping standards.

• - Actively identify spending trends and address burn rate issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• - A seasoned professional exhibiting essential organizational skills, which include physical organization, prioritization, collaboration, effective written and verbal communication, time management, self-motivation, and self-management.

• - At least 4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably with diverse entities.

• - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.

• - Experience with Gusto is highly preferred.

• - Capability to generate clear, founder-friendly financial reports, involving data interpretation rather than mere extraction.

• - Strong written English skills for asynchronous communication via Discord and Gmail.
