
Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver exceptional speech-language services to K-12 students participating in Connections Academy virtual public schools.
• Design and execute individual and group therapy sessions in a virtual setting.
• Utilize webcams, web conferencing tools, the company's Education Management System, and special education software to handle caseloads and documentation.
• Adhere to designated school and state-specific policies and protocols for LiveSpeech services.
• Foster positive working relationships with the LiveSpeech team, educational institutions, programs, leadership, and school personnel.
• Review and evaluate reports to ensure compliance with standards.
• Thoroughly document therapeutic interventions in a timely manner.
• Perform screenings and both formal and informal assessments of students' communication requirements.
• Engage with parents or learning coaches and special education staff to support IEP objectives and student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to coordinate specially designed instruction outlined in IEPs.
• Assist with IEP paperwork, documentation, and procedural tasks.
• Keep accurate and updated data in education management and IEP systems.
• Comply with data protection and security regulations as well as company policies.
• Acquire and sustain necessary licenses and clearances.
• Fulfill assigned responsibilities and participate in required professional development and training.
• MA or MS degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Active and valid state and/or Department of Education Speech Pathology licensure is mandatory in the state of residence.
• Capability to obtain and maintain multiple necessary state certifications and clearances.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a K-12 educational setting.
• Proficient technology skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with a significant level of flexibility.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Personal electronic device and email address are required for two-step authentication.
• Must be able to provide a computer, second monitor, mouse, and keyboard for remote work.
