This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Support families in navigating the process of becoming foster or adoptive resources.

• Conduct home study evaluations for potential foster and kinship families seeking Foster Care and Kinship licensing as well as adoption approval.

• Collaborate with families to finalize the home study process, draft the home study evaluation, and offer resources and assistance throughout the journey.

• Contribute as an essential member of the Licensing Team and work in partnership with South Dakota DSS/CPS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must have or be eligible for licensure as a Social Worker or Social Work Associate through the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners.

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, along with one to two years of relevant experience, is mandatory.

• Preference will be given to candidates who are Licensed Social Workers or Licensed Social Work Associates through the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners.

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old, which is a requirement.

• Successful completion of all agency background checks is mandatory.

• Active auto insurance, a valid driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status is required.
