Part Time Service Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Supervise and assist in the daily operations of biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs) working in the field.

• Ensure effective scheduling, communication, logistical coordination, and performance monitoring for BMETs.

• Serve as a conduit between clients, technicians, and internal departments to guarantee exceptional service.

• Track service delivery metrics, turnaround times, and equipment maintenance timelines.

• Record and document service reports, preventive maintenance, and repair activities in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Interact with hospital personnel and clients to ensure their expectations are fulfilled.

• Oversee the onboarding and orientation processes for new BMETs.

• Coordinate logistics including equipment delivery, parts sourcing, and travel arrangements.

• Keep precise records of work orders, technician hours, and performance indicators.

• Identify operational hurdles and propose enhancements to optimize service delivery.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC), NFPA, and OEM guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare technology management (HTM) setting.

• Previous experience in coordinating service or technical teams.

• Proficient knowledge of CMMS platforms (e.g., Nuvolo, TMS, or AIMS).

• Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in travel and logistics coordination for technical field teams (preferred).

• Understanding of healthcare regulations and standards (preferred).
