Part-Time Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Travel to rural locations to install and service our devices on farms, with a daily range of 1-50 sites.

• At each location, you will need to disinfect tires and boots, scale feed bins between 10 and 40 feet tall, and set up our sensor and small solar panel inside the site’s bin. The installation process generally takes 10 to 15 minutes.

• Address basic issues on field devices requiring service, as necessary.

• Follow biosecurity protocols as required at each farm location.

• Keep accurate records of mileage and timesheets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Certification for working at heights, including a comprehensive understanding of fall protection equipment usage.

• Clean driving record with the capability to drive for 8 to 10 hours daily.

• A reliable smartphone with fundamental knowledge for basic measurements and usage.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, with proficiency in English.

• A positive attitude and a service-oriented mindset.

• A solid work ethic, maintaining high standards for yourself and respecting others.

• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Capacity to work in various weather conditions.

• Physically capable of climbing and lifting over 50 lbs.
