Part-Time Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Travel to rural locations to install and maintain our devices at farm sites, handling between 1-50 installations per day.

• At each site, you will need to disinfect tires and boots, scale feed bins ranging from 10 to 40 feet in height, and install our sensor and small solar panel within the bin.

• Each installation generally takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

• Diagnose and resolve basic issues with field devices that require servicing, when applicable.

• Comply with biosecurity protocols as necessary for each farm location.

• Keep precise records of mileage and time sheets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is required.

• Certification for working at heights, with comprehensive knowledge of using fall protection equipment.

• Clean driving history with the capability to drive for 8 to 10 hours daily.

• A dependable smartphone with fundamental knowledge of its functions and the ability to take basic measurements.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and proficiency in English.

• A positive attitude and a service-oriented mindset.

• A strong work ethic, maintaining high personal standards and respect for others.

• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Capability to work in various weather conditions.

• Physically fit to climb and lift over 50 lbs.
