This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Deliver thorough and prompt feedback to students concerning various assessment tasks.
β’ Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that prioritizes student needs.
β’ Adhere to deadlines for completing essential tasks (such as final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and input for grade appeals).
β’ Engage in necessary professional development and/or scholarly activities, as applicable.
β’ Offer insights to the course lead regarding the course materials.
β’ Recognize at-risk students and work collaboratively with student services.
β’ A doctoral degree with a specialization in Psychology or a related field is required, with a PhD being preferred.
β’ Publication of research-based, scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles is required.
β’ Proven experience in the online delivery of education and familiarity with the supporting systems is mandatory.
β’ Preferred experience in teaching graduate-level qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or statistics.
β’ Required experience as a member of a dissertation committee, ideally in the role of chair/advisor.
β’ Content expertise in areas such as trauma, substance use/addictions, or the application and implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is preferred but not mandatory.
