Part Time AMC Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct personalized online math lessons aimed at preparing students for the AMC 8 and AMC 10 competitions.

• Instruct in English utilizing engaging, interactive methods that foster strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

• Assist students in navigating competition-style questions while clarifying essential concepts and strategies employed in math contests.

• Aid students in establishing systematic methods for tackling common math competition topics, including number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.

• Help students cultivate confidence and effective strategies for succeeding in math competitions.

• Offer timely feedback and tailored guidance to enhance student comprehension and promote ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; preferred majors include Math, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines.

• Prior experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience in competition settings is highly desirable.

• A solid foundation in mathematics; familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts is advantageous.

• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
