
Park Opening Setup Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop and finalize the layout and placement of kitchen equipment.
• Organize the service hall behind the party rooms and prepare the storage areas that facilitate party operations.
• Construct and assemble cubbies, benches, dining tables and chairs, as well as office and storage cabinets.
• Install and mount all televisions across the park.
• Set up required signage for health inspections and all wayfinding signs throughout the park.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent on the installation of animal and plant decorations.
• Prepare the treasure room, including mops, soap, Minuteman, buckets, and all cleaning supplies for the park.
• Receive all shipments from Lava Island suppliers during the setup period.
• Confirm the accuracy of each shipment.
• Report any missing items, damaged goods, or undelivered shipments to Rocco Minella promptly.
• Unpack and position all park supplies in their designated locations.
• Organize and store surplus flooring, padding, paint, and other construction materials in the park maintenance storage areas.
• Assist the Superintendent with quality control wrap-up and final inspections.
• Actively identify any incomplete or substandard items noticed while working in the park, allowing the Superintendent to add them to the punch list or track them accordingly.
• Complete punch list tasks that fall within the setup scope when requested; the Superintendent is responsible for the punch list and its transfer to Operations.
• Ensure readiness for health inspections in coordination with the Superintendent, so the park is prepared upon the inspector's arrival.
• Background in general construction.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools; comfortable working at heights using ladders and lifts.
• Willingness to travel continuously without a home park base, on 2-4 week deployment cycles.
• Ability to work in unfamiliar environments and under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to put in the necessary hours to meet the park opening deadline.
• Strong proactive communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently on-site with minimal supervision.
• Must be 21 years or older (for travel and rental car requirements).
• Technology: Familiarity with email, digital documentation, and basic reporting tools.
• Rental car, accommodation, and per diem according to company field policy.
• Standard safety protocols and PPE requirements for construction sites apply throughout the deployment.
