• Acquire knowledge of requirements and familiarize yourself with processes for I–589, EOIR 42-B, and various other case types.
• Analyze intake, interview, and initial research notes to formulate legal strategies for attorney evaluation.
• Modify and manage case flow in alignment with immigration judges’ directives.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of complete court case files before preparing clients for court appearances, ensuring they are well-informed about their case and expectations.
• Address client inquiries and escalated cases by identifying solutions or outlining next steps.
• Convey legal information to clients clearly and respectfully, following attorney guidance.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal workflows, scripts, and training materials to boost consistency and efficiency within the Court team.
• Collaborate with other operations teams to provide strategic insights and additional perspectives on the case process.
• Assist in managing overflow attorney tasks upon request and when appropriate.
• Exceptional English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding communication and organizational capabilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Over 5 years of experience in court filing, with at least 3 years specifically in immigration court filings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software, including Dropbox, SharePoint, or CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills.
• Ability to independently resolve problems or seek support from leadership as needed.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative working style.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
