This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• This position is tasked with enhancing Thryv's presence within the current client base, fostering client engagement with existing software clients, and expanding the SaaS client base through new sales initiatives.

• The role involves reaching out to existing clients to nurture and develop relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to achieve a set sales quota.

• The Outside Software Account Representative performs over 50% of their work outside of their home office.

• Engages with assigned clients to present opportunities for additional sales and/or increased usage tailored to client needs.

• Identifies and acquires new SaaS clients by utilizing self-generated prospecting methods (such as networks, referrals, etc.) and participating in company-driven prospecting initiatives.

• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with a high standard of excellence (including established cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).

• Takes part in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training sessions as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience is required (preferably in a SaaS environment or company).

• At least 2 years of experience in an outbound sales role covering the full sales cycle is required.

• Industry knowledge with the capability to thoroughly understand the Thryv product suite.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to forge relationships.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote-first setting, effectively delivering sales presentations while adhering to established company processes and procedures.

• Robust technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.

• 50% driving requirement and a valid driver's license.

• Must reside locally to the job posting city (within a 1-hour commute).
