This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Build and enhance relationships with current end users, contractors, and engineers while seeking new business opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Offer engineers and end users expert product recommendations, technical assistance, and consistent follow-up to ensure successful project execution and drive sales growth.
• Proactively schedule customer meetings, organize product presentations and promotional events, and maintain ongoing communication with your clientele.
• Participate in product training sessions and engage actively in local industry associations, conferences, and trade shows.
• Travel to manufacturer sites and represented company locations for training and professional development as required.
• At least 4 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, demonstrating success in sales, business development, or account management.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to effectively present technical solutions to engineers, municipalities, contractors, and plant personnel.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through.
• Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Highly self-motivated with strong organizational, time management, and territory management skills.
• Comfortable conducting in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Capacity to work independently while managing multiple projects, priorities, and customer accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/customer relationship management software is preferred.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel within an assigned territory (Upstate NY).
