Outside Sales Account Manager – Multi-Family

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Accountable for profitably increasing sales to meet annual sales targets as a sales consultant for both established core industries and emerging markets.

• Tasked with identifying new accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and enhancing opportunities with current customers.

• Cultivates and maintains sales relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across all organizational levels.

• Oversees sales performance with a designated group of clients, effectively prospecting to broaden the customer base.

• Formulates and executes strategies to grow business presence within the assigned territory.

• Shares market insights and competitor data with relevant channels within the organization, fostering relationships and collaborative partnerships.

• Attends monthly business meetings for all company-sponsored associations.

• Engages in all local trade shows and, if necessary, participates in similar regional or national events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in direct sales to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance clients.

• A minimum of 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) field sales experience.

• Proven track record in direct sales to HD Supply facility customers and industry products.

• Familiarity with a wide range of product lines.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in handheld technology.

• Knowledge of facility products including hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.

• Competency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or a comparable CRM system.

• Previous experience with consultative selling or solution selling is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve or surpass sales targets in a remote working environment.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
