This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Consistently generate and secure new business to surpass both individual and company revenue goals.
• Independently identify and engage new accounts through outbound emails, phone calls, social selling, and research-based strategies.
• Promptly and professionally follow up on inbound leads generated by Marketing, advancing them through the sales funnel.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through discovery, demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
• Provide clear and persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to business owners and department leaders.
• Confidently respond to detailed inquiries regarding InsCipher’s offerings and effectively communicate customer value and ROI.
• Establish consultative, trust-based relationships by understanding each prospect’s business challenges and customizing solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with Marketing on outbound campaigns to drive demand and enhance funnel performance.
• Research and qualify prospects utilizing trade publications, industry resources, and social media platforms.
• Prepare sales service agreements and pricing proposals in conjunction with the VP of Sales and Legal.
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline, forecasting, and activities within the CRM.
• Actively participate in weekly sales meetings to assess goals, pipeline health, and performance.
• Travel to customer locations and industry events as required (anticipated up to ~20%).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in consultative B2B sales.
• 2+ years of experience in Surplus Lines / Non-Admitted Insurance is preferred.
• Experience in SaaS or InsurTech sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong research abilities with the capacity to comprehend a prospect’s business and communicate effectively at their level.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to clearly express InsCipher’s value proposition.
• Consultative selling mindset—able to listen attentively, ask insightful questions, and facilitate productive discussions.
• Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and rapidly learning the business post-onboarding.
• Open to coaching and feedback, with a growth-oriented attitude.
• Experience with CRM tools; familiarity with HubSpot is a plus.
