This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review the eASM dashboard on a daily basis to detect any anomalies or security incidents.
• Execute testing and validation of vulnerabilities identified by the ASM system, providing supporting evidence for remediation efforts.
• Thoroughly investigate eASM vulnerabilities, assessing potential impacts and root causes.
• Perform diverse types of penetration testing, including scanning and password attacks, to uncover potential system weaknesses.
• Conduct technical vulnerability scans and validate remediation actions to maintain an effective security posture.
• Escalate discovered vulnerabilities and security incidents to the relevant client or internal team members for resolution.
• Collaborate with clients during project kick-off meetings to understand their unique security requirements and goals.
• Contribute to the maturation of eASM Evolve Security processes, procedures, templates, and methodologies to boost overall effectiveness.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the growth and development of enterprise and academy initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the security program.
• A strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity paired with a desire to learn.
• 0-1 years of experience in information technology, preferably with an emphasis on information security.
• 0-1 years of experience in penetration testing, application, and vulnerability management acquired through education or work at a security/consulting firm.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems and relevant command-line administration tools (Bash / PowerShell).
• Understanding of the application stack, including web technologies.
• Scripting skills in one or more languages: Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash.
• ESCP and Security+ certifications.
• A curiosity to explore and comprehend how systems function.
• Ability to engage with clients using consulting and negotiation skills.
• Highly self-motivated with the capacity to work independently toward team objectives.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
