This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Examine medical records thoroughly.
• Draft concise clinical summaries.
• Participate in peer-to-peer discussions as needed.
• Address client-specific inquiries regarding spinal conditions, management options (both surgical and non-surgical), causation, impairment, and disability within the framework of workers’ compensation cases.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
• Must possess Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training or substantial experience in Spine Surgery is preferred.
• A current, unrestricted medical license in New York is mandatory.
• Certification from the New York Workers’ Compensation Board is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery is necessary.
• Capability to complete the required orientation and training sessions.
• Must maintain all relevant licensure, certifications, and credentialing standards.
• This position is an independent contractor (1099) role with flexible scheduling.
• You can choose case types and manage your workload according to your availability.
• No physician-patient relationship is formed; treatment is not provided—all evaluations are advisory in nature.
• Efficient case processing through a secure online platform.
• Administrative support is available, including organization of medical records and preparation of cases.
• All records and pertinent clinical guidelines are organized and supplied for review.
• Training, ongoing assistance, and a dedicated contact person will be provided.
