Organic Social Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Edit raw footage captured on iPhones and DSLRs from RYZE's truck tour into engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Deliver a high volume of eye-catching edits under tight timelines driven by the tour schedule.

• Implement effective pacing, sound design, captions, and visual hooks.

• Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Editor on creative direction, trends, and content strategies.

• Organize and manage incoming footage, which includes ingesting, backing up, naming files, and overall organization.

• Keep track of platform-specific trends, sounds, and formats, adapting the tour footage accordingly.

• Ensure a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all edits.

• Assist with evergreen content, product/lifestyle posts, and other short-form organic social editing requirements.

• Report directly to the Senior Social Media Editor and collaborate with the broader content and brand team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in editing short-form social content specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Proven track record of editing footage shot with both DSLR and iPhone cameras.

• Strong portfolio or reel showcasing engaging, scroll-stopping short-form social edits.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.

• Keen eye for pacing, timing, and optimizing for social performance.

• Capable of handling large volumes of raw footage with quick turnaround times.

• Excellent organizational skills for managing footage, assets, and remote version control.

• Ability to follow direction while also contributing creative ideas independently.

• A genuine interest in social trends, wellness, functional beverages, or brand content is advantageous.

• Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines effectively, identify blockers early, and communicate progress clearly.
