This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Deliver advisory services to our member farms on various topics and crops related to market-oriented organic arable farming.
• Formulate practical strategies for implementing arable farming techniques on farms.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and field days, as well as provide technical presentations.
• Engage in applied research projects.
• Collaborate with raw material aggregators and processors to enhance market opportunities and link production with trade.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in organic arable farming.
• A degree in agricultural sciences, certification as a master craftsman (Meister) or agricultural technician, or an equivalent qualification.
• A passion for organic farming and the drive to actively promote its advancement.
• Willingness to travel for advisory services, projects, and events.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with farms and possess an open, communicative demeanor.
• Proficiency in German (both spoken and written) at the C1 level is required.
• Enjoy the ability to convey knowledge effectively, including delivering presentations at workshops and field days.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
