Order Entry Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to all Order Entry procedures.

• Utilize company systems (Driveworks) to collect general purchase orders and identify any missing details.

• Reach out to customers as needed to address potential discrepancies in orders.

• Collect customer information, meet their needs, educate them when appropriate, and document all interactions by logging contacts, discussions, and quotes into the designated system.

• Advocate for continuous enhancements in order entry quality, efficiency, productivity, and procedural adjustments.

• Foster a culture of cross-training and demonstrate a willingness to learn additional roles or tasks within the Sales Department.

• Actively engage in system and product training workshops to broaden knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required (an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred).

• A minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense of integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction.

• Strong decision-making skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate across functions and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

• Proven ability to establish, maintain, and teach a training program.

• Familiarity with the Hollow Metal industry, including customers, products, and market trends is preferred.
