Oracle JDE Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for the Finance module of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE), which includes General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.

• Customize and enhance the functionality of JDE Financials according to business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other JD Edwards modules.

• Develop, test, and deploy custom reports, interfaces, and business functions utilizing JD Edwards tools such as CNC (Configurable Network Computing), E1 Forms, E1 Page, Business Functions (UBEs), NER (Named Event Rules), and Advanced Pricing.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within the JDE Finance module environment to maintain high availability and performance.

• Collaborate with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications and implement suitable solutions.

• Maintain and update JD Edwards financial applications to ensure alignment with the latest versions, patches, and updates.

• Conduct data migration, testing, and validation to facilitate upgrades, implementations, and the deployment of new modules.

• Create and manage user roles and security in JD Edwards to uphold data privacy and control user access.

• Provide ongoing support and training for users of the Finance module, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system.

• Develop custom reports and dashboards using JDE tools (e.g., BI Publisher, Orchestrator, and Real-Time Data Access) for financial analysis and decision-making purposes.

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls in accordance with industry best practices.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members regarding JD Edwards development best practices and Finance module functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) development, specifically within the Finance module (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management).

• Strong understanding of JDE Financials processes, including GL, AP, AR, and FA, along with the capability to customize and optimize these functionalities.

• Experience with JDE Development Tools such as CNC, E1 Page, E1 Forms, Named Event Rules (NER), Business Functions, and UBE (Universal Batch Engine).

• Proficiency in JDE Orchestrator for automating processes and integrating JD Edwards with external systems.

• Experience in JDE data migration, utilizing tools like Data Workbench, FDA, and Z Files for bulk data processing.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, particularly Oracle Database, with the ability to write custom queries and reports for financial data analysis.

• Experience with JDE Security, including the setup of roles, permissions, and user access within JD Edwards.

• Ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in JD Edwards environments.

• Familiarity with JDE Upgrade and Patching processes.

• Understanding of the JDE CNC architecture and its integration with other modules.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
