Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Configure designated Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules to align with federal baseline and client-specific needs.

• Assist in fit-gap analysis by evaluating federal business processes against baseline platform functionalities.

• Record fits, gaps, suggested solutions, effort estimates, and associated risks.

• Assess and justify whether requirements are fulfilled out-of-the-box, via configuration, or through customization.

• Create functional design documentation and configuration workbooks.

• Develop and execute test scripts; assist in user acceptance testing and shadow-mode operations.

• Facilitate defect resolution.

• Release and confirm configurations in both non-production and production environments following client go-live approval.

• Generate CDRL content, which includes release notes, training materials, and online help resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Active Public Trust level clearance is required.

• An undergraduate degree is necessary, which may be substituted with equivalent years of experience.

• 2–5 years of pertinent functional or technical experience is expected.

• Practical hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM configuration in at least one module is essential.

• Proven experience in gathering requirements and creating functional design documentation.

• Background in supporting UAT cycles and production releases is advantageous.

• Federal HR experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with GPPA, the Guide to Data Standards, and EHRI reporting is preferred.

• Experience in migrating from PeopleSoft HCM or a legacy mainframe HR system is preferred.

• Multi-module Fusion HCM experience is preferred.

• Oracle Cloud HCM certification is preferred.
