Oracle EBS Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment, management, maintenance, and migration of Oracle E-Business Suite application environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Execute daily administration tasks that support development, testing, staging, UAT, production, and disaster recovery environments.

• Take charge of Oracle EBS application administration, environment management, cloning, patching, Oracle Cloud Manager operations, and facilitate migration activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with the Oracle EBS Technical Lead to implement and uphold highly available Oracle EBS environments within OCI.

• Install, configure, and manage Oracle EBS application environments.

• Conduct Oracle EBS cloning activities utilizing Oracle Cloud Manager.

• Build and configure Oracle EBS application tier servers on OCI Compute.

• Execute Oracle EBS patching and maintenance tasks.

• Set up and maintain Oracle WebLogic services.

• Support AutoConfig configuration management processes.

• Monitor Oracle Concurrent Processing.

• Administer Forms, Reports, and Workflow services.

• Maintain application configuration files.

• Assist in deploying multiple Oracle EBS environments.

• Perform routine health checks and system monitoring.

• Troubleshoot issues related to the Oracle EBS application.

• Assist with application migration and cutover activities.

• Maintain operational documentation.

• Participate in disaster recovery exercises.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Capability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Oracle EBS administration.

• Experience supporting Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x.

• Proficiency with Oracle Cloud Manager.

• Experience in administering Linux servers.

• Familiarity with Oracle application tier technologies.

• Remote work to be performed within CONUS.

• Experience migrating Oracle EBS environments from on-premises to OCI in the last five years.
