Oracle Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Conduct monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization of Oracle databases.

• Carry out version upgrades, apply patches, and implement schema modifications.

• Oversee data migrations between environments and maintain data integrity.

• Handle large datasets (terabytes of data) and enhance for high availability and scalability.

• Ensure reliable database security, backup, and recovery measures are established.

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to fulfill business needs.

• Automate routine database administration tasks whenever feasible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Oracle Database administration, including installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery processes, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Experience with AWS database services such as RDS and Aurora.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
