Oracle Cloud Financials Delivery Architect

📋 Description

• Manage multiple mid to large-scale and intricate consulting projects concurrently.

• Possess comprehensive lifecycle experience in facilitating Oracle SaaS requirements workshops and leading discussions on solutions architecture and design.

• Leverage extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices to advise clients on cost-effective solutions for their business scenarios.

• Direct the implementation team in developing the overall Enterprise Cloud solution, addressing both technical and functional aspects.

• Have experience in expanding Oracle SaaS capabilities through PaaS extensions, which includes designing solutions and drafting specifications for custom applications that integrate with Oracle Cloud Applications.

• Evaluate existing systems and data to uncover new requirements, identifying the necessity for system enhancements or modifications when appropriate.

• Capable of leading, mentoring, training, and guiding a team focused on Oracle Cloud applications.

• Experienced in aligning enterprise requirements with multiple Oracle SaaS Applications.

• Recognize and implement innovative and creative solutions to overcome product implementation and integration challenges.

• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for clients.

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Keep all parties updated on project status, challenges, and modifications.

• Actively involve project stakeholders in the estimation process, considering the implications of strategic business changes.

• Assist business partners in effectively presenting the value of solutions to key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware, software, or services. Negotiate contracts and agreements to obtain the best terms for the client.

• Present persuasive business cases, clearly articulating the benefits of proposed solutions.

• Continuously assess the performance of implemented solutions to identify potential enhancements or optimizations, providing recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, including over 3 years in solution design for ERP cloud implementations.

• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect involved in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades.

• Proficient in Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), particularly in Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.

• Knowledgeable and experienced with Web Services, including the use of Oracle Cloud delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST).

• Possess expert consulting and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, design business processes, manage conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and oversee testing of procurement ERP solutions.

• Experienced in navigating challenges associated with cross-border and diverse teams and projects.

• Understanding of corporate month-end close and consolidation processes, as well as planning or forecast management reporting requirements.

• Expert-level proficiency with one or more of the following Oracle Cloud Applications:

• - Oracle ERP Cloud

• - Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud

• - Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud

• - Oracle Manufacturing Cloud

• - Oracle EPM Cloud

• Strong consulting and business analytical skills for gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, designing business processes, managing conference room pilots (CRPs), performing functional configuration, and overseeing testing of ERP solutions.

• Proven track record of guiding clients through business process enhancements.

• Extensive accounting experience, including chart of accounts redesign, financial reporting expertise, and MultiOrg / Multicurrency experience.

• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

• High commitment to surpassing performance expectations.

• Ability to draft functional specifications based on user requirements.

• Sufficiently senior to independently manage client expectations.

• Professional demeanor when engaging with internal and external clients.

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Preferred consulting experience in a similar role within a professional services firm or strategic level industry experience is essential.

• Previous experience in IT companies.

• In-depth understanding of relevant technologies and systems.
