This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to mission-critical projects and facilitate business growth as an Oracle Applications Architect at GDIT.
• Oversee the architecture, design, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
• Manage the migration from legacy financial systems.
• Play an essential role in modernizing enterprise systems, coordinating efforts for legacy data archiving and decommissioning, and managing intricate data conversion projects into current financial systems.
• Design and implement Oracle EBS and Oracle ERP Cloud solutions that fulfill enterprise-wide needs for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and document both functional and technical requirements.
• Create integration frameworks utilizing tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs (REST/SOAP), and middleware platforms (Fusion Middleware).
• Oversee the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Financials, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Lead migration strategies and data integration initiatives between financial systems to deliver robust and optimized implementations.
• Research, analyze, and suggest utilities or tools to facilitate and streamline data migration across systems.
• Develop and manage processes for archiving, tracking, coordinating, and decommissioning legacy systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to phase out legacy applications while migrating relevant capabilities and data to Oracle ERP platforms.
• Establish governance and quality frameworks for the transition of legacy systems.
• Lead the planning, design, and execution of data conversion projects to transfer legacy system data into current financial and operational systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 15+ years of professional experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle ERP Cloud, along with enterprise system architecture.
• In the absence of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is necessary.
• Strong expertise in Oracle financials, procurement, and supply chain applications, including data migration methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience in managing large-scale data conversion or data migration projects, especially into Oracle ERP platforms.
• Proficient in Oracle development tools (SQL, PL/SQL), Oracle Analytics (OTBI, BI Publisher), and middleware technologies.
• Proven experience in managing legacy system lifecycle processes, encompassing data archiving, accessibility, and decommissioning.
• Strong comprehension of data governance, compliance standards, and best practices for maintaining data integrity.
• Exceptional project management skills, capable of handling competing priorities and complex multi-stakeholder projects.
