This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain clinical information systems, particularly focusing on surgical operations and anesthesia care.
• Act as a liaison among business operations, healthcare providers, IT teams, system users, and vendors to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Provide both remote and on-site support to end-users, overseeing, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incoming tickets.
• Coordinate system modifications and repairs with software vendors and collaborate with training teams and operations for the implementation of application updates.
• Develop test scripts, timelines, and testing plans for application and workflow modifications.
• Conduct cross-application testing and liaise with requestors and users for validation purposes.
• Collaborate with technical colleagues to identify and rectify infrastructure-related issues affecting clinical applications.
• Maintain technical expertise concerning assigned applications, understanding infrastructure interdependencies and user impacts.
• Support system upgrades, new releases, and enhanced functionalities, ensuring compliance with ITIL processes.
• Engage in special projects and perform other related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in health, science, or business-related field (or equivalent four years of relevant professional experience).
• Minimum of three years of Epic experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical information systems, informatics, data management, and administration.
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation, development, and support of information systems within a large-scale healthcare organization.
• Active Epic Certification or Accreditation in Optime and Anesthesia.
• Experience in supporting clinicians in a technical or educational capacity.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and adherence to organizational policies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must maintain active Epic certification for primary EHR module(s).
• Salary based on experience: $100,000 - $115,000.
