This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a primary responder for critical operational incidents.
• Be ready to mobilize to any plant in the U.S. or Canada at a moment's notice to evaluate conditions, stabilize operations, and implement immediate corrective measures.
• Serve as the on-site technical authority during escalation situations, collaborating directly with Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, and Maintenance Leaders.
• Conduct structured root cause analyses and ensure that corrective actions are executed, validated, and maintained.
• Provide direct technical leadership across maintenance and production systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control-related problems directly on the production floor.
• Handle significant PM/overhaul projects.
• Develop sustainable technical capabilities among operators and maintenance technicians.
• Offer hands-on, floor-based training (1:1 or in small groups) across maintenance and production teams.
• Identify recurring challenges and systemic issues affecting safety, quality, cost, or delivery.
• Promote strict compliance with safety standards, PPE, and environmental regulations during all intervention and recovery efforts.
• Record root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned from each deployment.
• 6–10 years of experience in a high-output plastics manufacturing setting.
• 5–10 years of practical experience in maintenance and/or production technical positions.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting blow molding systems and downstream bottle processing machinery.
• Demonstrated capability to lead effectively under pressure during unforeseen operational events.
• Strong decision-making abilities with the capacity to evaluate incomplete information in rapid-paced environments.
• Willingness and ability to be hands-on on the plant floor.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. and work within manufacturing settings.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in leading multi-site or organizational-level technical projects.
• Familiarity with budget and cost-management.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional operations and maintenance teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
