Operations & Supply Chain Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Take charge of our comprehensive supply chain, which includes forecasting, ordering, inventory management, international shipping, distribution, importing, and customs procedures.

• Supervise our third-party logistics (3PL) partner located in Vienna to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with our primary production partners in Thailand and Italy.

• Work in close collaboration with our design team to develop new products and manage packaging coordination.

• Lead our Customer Excellence team, influencing how we engage with customers at every interaction.

• Monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department, including return rates, on-time delivery, quality, efficiency, and budget adherence.

• Collaborate with marketing, design, finance, and retail teams to refine the overall customer journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proven history in a senior operations or supply chain position, preferably within the jewelry, accessories, or a similar high-end product sector.

• You have managed forecasting, procurement, supplier relationships, and logistics from start to finish.

• Practical experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, D365, PLM, or equivalent).

• Demonstrable experience in managing 3PL partners, handling international shipping, and navigating customs regulations.

• You recognize that operations and customer experience are intrinsically linked.

• Knowledge of the operational challenges associated with running a D2C e-commerce brand is preferred.

• You are adept at connecting various functions and creating scalable workflows.

• You quickly establish trust and communicate effectively with both internal and international stakeholders (proficiency in German and English is required).
