This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather data from all designated tower assets while upholding high standards of data quality.
• Employ various methods for data collection, including Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to oversee maintenance and repairs across a geographic area for all asset types, such as towers, rooftop installations, fiber-based networks, and generators.
• Conduct regular site audits on assets within an assigned area/zone in an efficient and cost-effective manner, utilizing UAS and other data collection tools.
• Ensure all assets within the designated area/zone comply with safety, compliance, and asset integrity standards by implementing the Company’s Standard of Care and other management policies, identifying and documenting discrepancies, and following up on necessary remediation.
• Effectively communicate with customers and vendors to manage projects, ensuring that timelines and safety standards are adhered to during pre-construction meetings, post-construction site walks, and while gathering and processing closeout data for customer construction and internally generated projects.
• Meet customer service level agreements by promptly addressing any issues related to the Company’s backup generators, fiber-based networks, or emergency responses to critical events.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in telecommunications or a related field required.
• Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, have a proven safe driving record, and be capable of extensive travel by car or truck.
• Must possess, or obtain within one year of hire, FAA Part 107 Certification to operate UAS.
• Experience in vendor management, real estate management, or civil construction is preferred.
• Familiarity with radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, radio frequency, wireless, or ethernet backhaul is preferred.
• Ability to exercise discretion when prioritizing and resolving issues in alignment with Company best practices and standards.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; capability to use additional Company software applications.
• While performing the duties, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and navigate developed and undeveloped construction sites is required.
• Approximately 40% overnight travel may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
