• Direct a team to achieve the following objectives
• Oversee the complete Value Stream Flow for Steam & Generator Upgrades
• Take ownership of enterprise flow performance across the entire service value stream related to Steam and Generator Upgrades for Steam Power Services
• Define, sustain, and enhance the enterprise service value stream map
• Drive initiatives aimed at reducing end-to-end lead time and variability
• Implement and expand target conditions effectively
• Lead cross-functional efforts to address systemic bottlenecks
• Serve as the final integrator across various functions to ensure alignment with value stream performance
• Concentrate the teams on Value Stream performance and transformation for Steam and Generator upgrades, fostering understanding and guiding improvement initiatives, including complex transformation strategies and activities into actionable, aligned Kaizen-based plans as part of a multi-year roadmap, while overseeing its implementation
• Facilitate the development of capacity and capabilities, including investments and skills, to adapt to the evolving mix of products and services that support the upgrades revenue stream
• Manage the end-to-end execution operating system throughout the project lifecycle
• Define and implement standardized tollgates, readiness criteria, and execution standards
• Establish and enforce enterprise-wide tools, systems, and a digital execution backbone
• Lead operating rhythms that foster decision-making and performance management
• Create and lead an enterprise-wide prioritization and scheduling governance model with prioritization rules that align with customer, financial, and strategic objectives, including well-defined Planning/Scheduling horizons and freeze windows, shared resource sequencing logic across projects, and clearly defined escalation thresholds and decision rights
• Coordinate cross-functional scheduling alignment between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Site Execution
• Manage the enterprise Master Scheduling / S&OE cadence
• Provide essential decision-making inputs to streamline processes across SPS/GPS/HDNU for optimal use of shared critical resources, particularly in Engineering & GSC
• Develop competency frameworks for PM, PD, PQM, CM, and related roles that are in line with leadership maturity models
• Create certification, development, and progression pathways
• Foster a culture of continuous capability enhancement within the project organization, collaborating closely with the Segment PMO leadership
• Ensure enterprise oversight of project quality and contract management
• Lead centralized teams of Project Quality Managers (PQM) and Contract Managers (CM)
• Define and enforce project quality standards that meet customer requirements and adhere to Built-In Quality (BIQ) principles
• Ensure the integration of quality practices across the entire value stream by working closely with the Business operations team
• Identify and eliminate recurring quality failure modes, embedding lessons learned into execution standards
• Assist in complex negotiations and dispute resolutions
• Maintain enterprise-wide visibility and governance of delivery and commercial risk
• Develop and implement a standardized risk taxonomy and govern the enterprise SQD risk register
• Facilitate adequate risk reviews during the bidding and contract phases
• Monitor and manage aggregate exposure related to Liquidated damages (LD), Warranty risk, and execution-related commercial risk
• Define escalation triggers and intervention thresholds
• Provide forward-looking risk insights to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong business acumen with operational experience in a services business, particularly in complex projects, PMO, capital equipment supply chains, and understanding of Value Stream Organization P&L, along with experience in Strategy/Markets, Pricing, Commercial processes, Product, Field Services, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Planning, Quality, Risk management, and managing financial budgets.
• Expertise in Lean methodology with practical experience in applying the lean toolbox.
• Ability to lead complex problem-solving initiatives for both caused and created business issues, including the development of Standard Work to promote consistency and implement Daily Management to encourage point-of-work problem-solving.
• Coach the organization to enhance overall problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience within global, matrixed organizations with multiple P&Ls.
• In-depth expertise in value stream management, flow optimization, project execution, lifecycle governance, and commercial and delivery risk management.
