This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In the role of Operations Finance Manager (all genders), you will establish an advanced controlling function for our supply chain and serve as a business partner for the Operations Management team.
• You will oversee inventory valuation and consistently enhance inventory control processes.
• Your role will involve creating visibility around stock levels, goods movements, and their financial implications.
• You will analyze critical supply chain and operational KPIs, including inventory, COGS, logistics expenses, and forecast accuracy.
• Acting as a financial partner for Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement, you will integrate financial insights into operational decisions.
• You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial planning.
• Your responsibilities will include developing dashboards, reporting systems, and KPIs, while continuously refining them.
• You will prepare business cases for operational choices, such as decisions about suppliers, logistics configurations, or inventory strategies.
• You will pinpoint opportunities for cost and working capital optimization throughout the entire value chain.
• You possess a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
• You have a background in controlling, operations finance, supply chain analytics, or consulting.
• Prior exposure to inventory management, cost structures, or operational KPIs is a significant advantage.
• You demonstrate analytical thinking, work with a data-driven approach, and can clearly present complex relationships.
• You are organized and independent in your work, maintaining clarity even in dynamic settings.
• You have excellent proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and are adept at working with numerical data.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial, or you have a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
• Ideally, you have experience with ERP or financial systems.
• You have an interest in data analysis, reporting, and developing significant KPIs.
• You are analytically skilled and enjoy exploring complex relationships.
