Operations Excellence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Identify opportunities to enhance asset utilization for return on investment and capacity.

• Implement productivity initiatives to achieve the long-term strategic objectives for Doors.

• Promote collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve better outcomes.

• Develop operational capabilities to fulfill customer requirements and standardize equipment and processes throughout the network.

• Inform stakeholders about the business advantages of strategic projects to foster support.

• Ensure the presence of standard operating procedures to address both short-term and long-term business necessities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience with demonstrated execution of improvement projects, ideally in high-volume manufacturing settings.

• More than 5 years of experience in Operations Management, OpEx, Continuous Improvement, or related fields.

• Proven success in enhancing efficiency and profitability within a multi-site manufacturing environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of the production process and its alignment with broader business strategies.

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, TPS, Kaizen, and/or other continuous improvement frameworks.
