Operations DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the deployment of code releases and promotions across both test and production environments.

• Conducting product installation and configuration, with troubleshooting support from ARM Operations team members.

• Managing incidents through the investigation and triage of various software application and database issues, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution.

• Overseeing the functionality and performance of Ascendon ARM solutions in production, customer test, and internal environments.

• Analyzing system performance, addressing issues, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Maintaining monitoring tools and systems to proactively detect and resolve potential issues.

• Installing, configuring, and upgrading third-party products and open-source solutions.

• Actively participating and contributing to daily stand-up meetings.

• Executing and validating deployment installation, configuration, and release processes and procedures.

• Developing and maintaining automation tools and processes to enhance operations and boost productivity.

• Documenting operational and system architecture processes and configurations, while identifying opportunities for automation where applicable.

• Taking part in the 24x7 on-call rotation schedule for ARM Operations.

• When necessary, engaging in critical problem resolution outside of regular working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in configuring, managing, and upgrading servers and software.

• Proficient with RDS database applications (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and their administration.

• Capable of recognizing and independently resolving issues.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Demonstrated collaboration skills, including effective written and verbal communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work autonomously and/or collaborate with internal teams with minimal guidance to address problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Software, or Telecommunications), or a related field.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in development and release processes.

• AWS certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
