This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the People & Operations Team at Watson Institute, ensuring the smooth operation of essential systems on a daily basis.
• Reporting directly to the Associate VP of Operations, this position assists with Talent, Financial, and IT operations.
• Facilitate and implement crucial aspects of Watson Institute’s hiring process and talent pipeline, establishing a benchmark for an exceptional candidate experience within the impact sector.
• Ensure timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing consistent updates and fostering a positive candidate experience at every phase.
• Aid the Operations Manager in managing the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Support and carry out daily financial operations, ensuring precision and timely processing across the team.
• Enhance Watson Institute’s core systems infrastructure, primarily focusing on Google Workspace Admin.
• Exhibit a strong desire to be part of a team that upholds high standards of quality and excellence.
• Maintain a rigorous standard for quality and attention to detail, with a keen ability to identify inconsistencies in writing, formatting, and communication.
• Be exceptionally organized and process-oriented, utilizing systems, trackers, and clear workflows to manage tasks accurately and effectively.
• Work with purpose and structure, anticipating needs and creating order in complex or rapidly changing environments.
• Take initiative and ensure follow-through, approaching tasks with a results-oriented mindset to complete responsibilities thoroughly.

• Possess a systems-thinking mindset, with experience in developing, enhancing, and managing processes that ensure consistent and reliable execution.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate confidence in navigating technological systems, with experience in tools like Google Workspace Admin and a desire to create and maintain scalable internal systems.
• Show enthusiasm for utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to enhance and elevate the candidate experience, positioning Watson Institute as a leader in this area.
• Familiarity with Monday.com or similar workflow management applications.
• Experience with SaaS-based tools to support operational workflows, with preference given to familiarity with expense management platforms such as Expensify.
• Competitive base salary based on experience: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00.
