Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gibraltar.

📋 Description

• Payments Operations: Address and resolve issues related to customer transactions. Execute daily or weekly payments to vendors or business partners.

• Reconciliations: Oversee transaction statements to conduct reconciliations of company assets. Implement controls to ensure the quality, completeness, and integrity of financial data, providing support to the Finance team.

• Cards: Supervise transaction processing, including authorizations and settlements. Manage disputes related to debit card transactions and fraud claims. Assist the Customer Support team with customer inquiries.

• Back Office: Support various operations-related tasks, ensuring the timely completion of all associated activities.

• Project Participation: Engage in ad hoc tasks and projects with a flexible and proactive approach.

• Process Improvement: Create, maintain, and enhance operational policies, processes, and procedures to boost efficiency.

• Internal Controls: Identify, suggest, and document improvements to processes and internal controls to align with industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in an Operations department, preferably within a bank, fintech, or financial institution.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: payments, banking, financial reconciliation, or card disputes.

• Strong work ethic with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills (fluent in both written and spoken English).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Data-oriented mindset with advanced Excel or database expertise and a keen eye for detail.

• A genuine interest in technology and cryptocurrencies.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be organized, proactive, and a self-starter.

• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on integrating solutions into everyday workflows.
