This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement that elevate operational performance, enhance organizational effectiveness, and ensure strategic alignment.
• Collaborate with business leaders to pinpoint areas for improvement, facilitate process optimization, and implement solutions based on data.
• Develop organizational capabilities, standardize work practices, and achieve measurable business outcomes through coaching, assessment, and improvement methodologies.
• Lead intricate, cross-functional initiatives that promote operational excellence and ensure long-term organizational success.
• Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Identify, analyze, and execute opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall operational results.
• Utilize process mapping, root cause analysis, data analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Collaborate with leaders to define key performance metrics and improve visual management systems.
• Strengthen routines such as huddles, leader standard work, and performance evaluations.
• Work alongside business partners and support teams to exchange best practices, resolve complex issues, standardize processes, and drive initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Travel annually for planning, team-building activities, or conferences.
• Bachelor's degree is essential, preferably in Quality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in roles focused on process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Proficient in applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies, such as standard work, process mapping, A3 problem solving, 5S, root cause analysis, and data-driven performance measurement.
• Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma principles to enhance processes, quality, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Capability to identify opportunities for process improvement, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable solutions using structured problem-solving methods.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
• Experience in group insurance, financial services, or a related industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with and advise operational leaders and business stakeholders is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and change management principles is preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and meet employment, education, and licensing verification requirements.
