Operational Excellence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will collaborate closely with the COO to ensure operational processes, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional projects are well-structured and executed consistently.

• You will analyze workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks, create scalable standards, and actively propel key initiatives forward.

• Your responsibilities include identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, as well as deriving concrete improvement measures and use cases for AI agents.

• You will design and document clear target processes, roles and responsibilities, handovers, and standards.

• Setting up and managing project plans—including target state, scope, milestones, timelines, risks, and decision requirements—will be part of your daily responsibilities.

• You will facilitate alignment across departments while tracking actions, decisions, and outstanding items.

• Your role will involve preparing decision-making materials, management updates, and structured communication for the COO and relevant stakeholders.

• You will support the development of a scalable operating system for the company’s upcoming growth phase.

• Your role will also include introducing appropriate tools, templates, dashboards, routines, and AI agents to enhance transparency and execution speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess experience in Operations, Operational Excellence, Consulting, Project Management, Process Management, or a similar role in a dynamic setting.

• You have a strong understanding of scaling organizations, operational processes, interface management, and KPI-driven steering.

• You are distinguished by your robust analytical and structuring skills, with the ability to swiftly translate complex topics into clear decision-making and execution logic.

• You have solid expertise in project management, including roadmaps, milestones, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• You demonstrate a high level of execution strength, reliability, and ownership, thriving on driving topics forward in a visible and impactful manner.

• You excel in communication and confidently collaborate with the COO, leadership team, and operational teams.

• You are proficient in common tools for project management, documentation, data analysis, and reporting (e.g., Asana, Notion, Jira, Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, or BI tools), and have experience utilizing AI agents in an organizational context.
