Operating Room Technical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Set up operating rooms according to specific specialty needs: opening and preparation.

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival.

• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to position patients for surgery.

• Work alongside the TSO, surgical team, and anesthesia team to monitor the progress of surgical procedures.

• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of procedures, instruments, and materials utilized.

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities and medical equipment.

• Implement hygiene and aseptic protocols consistently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in an operating room is essential.

• Ability to work across various specialties, including orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.

• Strong priority-setting skills and effective stress management capabilities.

• Competence in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Capacity to work independently.

• Flexibility in adapting to changing situations.

• ATSSO diploma is considered an asset.
