• Develops and presents an approved syllabus for students.

• Organizes, prepares, and continuously updates all course materials.

• Utilizes suitable technological tools for online learning.

• Exemplifies effective communication skills, both oral and written.

• Establishes clear expectations for the course.

• Guarantees that the content and difficulty level of exams align with course objectives.

• Maintains consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline is required.

• Experience in outpatient coding is essential.

• Must possess current industry-related certifications (CCS).

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in healthcare operations is necessary.

• At least five years of recent outpatient coding experience in the field is required.

• Knowledge of electronic health/medical records is essential.

• Understanding of IT systems and their functions within healthcare is needed.

• Familiarity with health insurance and reimbursement processes is required.

• Awareness of health privacy and ethics is necessary.

• Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and billing functions is essential.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices is expected.
